İslâmi ilimlerin öğretimi içerisinde içeriği ve gayesi açısından önemli bir yeri olan Kelam dersinin öğretimi örgün eğitimde İmam Hatip Liseleri’nde başlamaktadır. İHL öğrencilerinin mesleki yetkinlik kazanmasının yanında, bireysel olarak dinin inanç boyutunu temellendirmesi açısından Kelam dersinin müfredatta önemli bir yeri bulunmaktadır. İHL meslek dersleri öğretmenlerinin genel olarak Kelam dersine ve onun amaç ve kazanımlarının gerçekleşmesine yönelik tutumlarının, Kelam öğretiminde önemli olduğu ileri sürülebilir. Bu nedenle meslek dersleri öğretmenlerin gözüyle Kelam dersinin mevcut durumuna ve nasıl olması gerektiğine ilişkin araştırmaların yapılmasının önem arz ettiği düşünülmektedir. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin Kelam dersine ilişkin tespit edilen bazı görüşleri şunlardır: Kelam dersi, müfredat içerisinde mutlaka olması gereken bir derstir, ancak Kelam öğretim programının güncellenmesi gerekmektedir. Öğrencilerin bireysel özgürlüğünün oluşmasında, eleştirel düşünme ve sorgulayıcı bakış açısı kazanmasında, dini zihniyetlerinin oluşmasında ve hayata bakış açısını etkileyen bir din algısına sahip olmasında Kelam dersinin önemli katkısı bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışma, meslek dersleri öğretmenlerinin Kelam dersine yönelik görüşlerini tespit ve değerlendirme amacıyla, Erzurum ili İmam Hatip Liselerinde görev yapan 58 İHL meslek dersleri öğretmeni ile yüz yüze görüşülerek 24 sorudan oluşan anket formu yoluyla elde edilen verilerin içerik analizi yöntemine göre incelendiği nitel bir araştırmadır.
The teaching of the Kalam, which has an important place in the Islamic sciences in terms of content and aspect, begins at the Imam Hatip High Schools in the formulated education. The kelam course has an important place in the curriculum because the Imam Hatip High Schools’ students acquire professional competence as well as the religious dimension of belief in the individual aspect and foundation. However, it is thought that the content of the course, the work and the view of the teachers are important to investigate the current situation of the Kelam course and how it should be. Some of the teachers' opinions regarding the Kelam course in the research are as follows: Kelam is a must-have in the curriculum, but the curriculum of Kelam is required to be updated. There is a significant contribution of the Kelam course in the formation of the individual freedom of the students, in the attainment of a critical thinking and inquisitive point of view, in the formation of religious minds, and in a sense of religion that affects the point of view of life. This study is a qualitative research which is conducted to IHL vocational course teachers working in Imam Hatip High School in Erzurum by a questionnaire of 58 and interviewed face to face and analyzed by a questionnaire consisting of 24 questions in order to determine and evaluate opinions of vocational school teachers about Kelam course.
