KURUMSALLAŞMA DÜZEYİNİN ÖRGÜTSEL SESSİZLİK ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ: BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract:

Kurumsallaşmanınönemli yararlarından biri kurum çalışanlarının örgütsel hedefler için gösterdiği çabayı olumlu etkilemektir. Bu çerçevede son on yıldır örgütsel davranış araştırmalarında tartışılan bir kavram olan örgütsel sessizliğin kurumsallaşmayla birlikte azaldığı ve bunun bir soncu olarak her kademedeki tüm çalışanların örgütün amaçlarını benimseme düzeyleri ve kurumsal işleyiş ve çıktıların kalitesine katkı sağladığı düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı kurumsallaşma düzeyi ile örgütsel sessizlik arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Ayrıca örgütsel sessizliği azaltıcı etkisi ile kurumsallaşmanın çalışanların yaş, eğitim durumu, meslekteki hizmet süresi ve üniversitedeki hizmet süresi arasında anlamlı farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Çalışma kapsamında Kastamonu üniversitesinde 332 idari ve akademik personelden anket aracılığıyla bilgi toplanmış ve sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda çalışanların kabul edilen sessizlik, savunma amaçlı sessizlik ve kurum yararına sessizlik ile kurumsallaşma düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiler tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçlar tartışılarak bir dizi öneri sunulmuştur.
