Duygusal-davranışsal sorun yaşayan çocukların erken ve zamanında belirlenmesi ve çocuklara gereksinim duydukları hizmetlerin sağlanması oldukça önemlidir. Okullar, çocuklara ulaşma, hizmetleri sağlama ya da yönlendirmenin yapılabilmesine olanak sağlayan kurumlardır. Okul psikolojik danışmanları, okul ruh sağlığı hizmetleri olarak tanımlanan hizmetlerin sunulmasında önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu araştırmanın amacı okul psikolojik danışmanlarının okul ruh sağlığı hizmeti uygulamalarında karşılaştıkları sorunları ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel bir tipik durum çalışması olarak kurgulanmıştır. Araştırmaya Amasya İl’inde görev yapan toplam 22 okul psikolojik danışmanı katılmıştır. Kodlamalar sonucunda verilerin dört tema altında toplandığı görülmüştür. Bu temalar “Beklentiler, görev ve sorumluluklar: “Neyiz bilemiyoruz”;“Sorunların kaynakları: Hep aileden”; “İşbirlikçi bir okul ruh sağlığı hizmeti” ve “Tam olarak öğrenemiyoruz: Okul psikolojik danışmanı yetiştirmede görülen problemler” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Her bir tema kendi içerisinde yorumlanmış ve eğitim ortamlarında okul psikolojik danışmanlarının rolleri ve uygulamaları, okul ruh sağlığı hizmetlerinin sağlanması bağlamında tartışılmıştır. It is very important to identify children with emotional and behavioral problems early and timely and to provide the services they need to children. Schools are institutions that allow access to children, providing services or guidance. School psychological consultants play an important role in providing services defined as school mental health services. The purpose of this research is to reveal the problems that school psychological consultants face in the practice of school mental health services. The research is defined as a typical state study. The study included a total of 22 psychological counselors working in the Amasya province. The coding results showed that the data was collected under four themes. These topics are called "Our expectations, tasks and responsibilities: "What we don't know";"Sources of problems: Always from the family"; "A collaborative school mental health service" and "We can't learn exactly: the problems seen in educating a school psychological consultant". Each topic is interpreted within itself and the roles and practices of school psychological consultants in educational environments are discussed in the context of the provision of school mental health services.
