Özet: Bu makale Conger ve Kanungo tarafından geliştirilmiş bulunan Atıf Teorisini, bu teoride ileri sürülen karizmatik liderlerin özelliklerini ve bu özelliklerin üçlü bağlılık modeliyle olan ilişkilerini açıklamaktadır. Karizmatik liderler vizyon belirleyerek ve yüksek motivasyon sağlayarak izleyenlerinin örgütsel bağlılık düzeylerinin yükselmesine neden olmaktadırlar. Araştırma Karaman Emniyet Müdürlüğüne bağlı 118 polis memuru üzerinde yapılmıştır. Karizmatik liderliği ölçmek üzere Conger-Kanungo tarafından geliştirilmiş bulunan Karizmatik Liderlik Ölçeği ve bağlılık türlerini ölçmek üzere de Allen- Meyer tarafından geliştirilmiş bulunan örgütsel Bağlılık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır.   Abstract: This article reports on a study which explores the relationship between the charismatic leadership traits identified by Conger and Kanungo and the three organizational commitment types identified by Allen and Meyer. Charismatic leaders disprited followers by hightening motivation and articulating vision. A total of 118 police chief from Karaman Police Force participated in the study. In order to measure charismatic leadership, Charismatic Leadership Questionnaire (CLQ) identified by Conger and Kanungo and to measure organizational commitment, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) developed by Allen and Meyer were used.
