Abstract:

In classical Turkish literature various verse dictionaries which are predominant with didactical aspect has been written up. Especially Farsi-Turkish dictionaries as Sunbulzade Vehbi’s Tuhfe-i Vehbi have an important role. Various dictionaries have been written as response referred to Tuhfe-i Vehbi. One of these is also Guherrîz which was written up by Durrî Suleyman Efendi. The work was published in Istanbul in 1267/1851. Guherrîz which is predominant by its didactical aspect and which has a small size takes attention with many of appretiations. Guher-rîz is composed of three parts. At the first part there are seven appreciations. In the part of dictionary argonised according to line of elifba alphabet with its introduction and epilog there are 10 histories written by various persons. In this study there will se a document translation ofter in verse FarsiTurkish dictionaries are introduced
