Eğitimin bütünlüğü içerisinde yerini alan sanat eğitimi kavramı, “salt görsel ve plastik alandaki eğitim değil, tüm ifade biçimlerini kapsayan bir eğitim anlaşılmalıdır. Bu çalışmanın temel konusunu, dört temel disiplin, yani sanat eğitiminde öğretim alanları ve bir alt disiplin olarak sanat eleştirisi oluşturmaktadır. Okul düzeyinde yapılan eleştiri çalışmalarına “sanat eseri incelemek” demek daha doğru olabilir. Sanat eseri inceleme, düzenli bir hazırlık ve bilgili bir uygulama ister. Bu yaklaşımlarda ağırlığı öğretmen ayarlar. Eleştiri aktiviteleri, günümüzde uygulanan öğretmen merkezli yaklaşımdan uzaklaşmayı sağlamaktır. Sonuç olarak bu araştırmada, tek boyutlu sanat eğitimi yerine, neden birleştirilmiş sanat eğitimi yöntemlerinin gerekli olduğu, sanat eğitimi öğretim alanlarının bir alt disiplini olan, sanat eleştirisinin ne olduğunu, niçin sanat eleştirisi yapmayı öğrenmemiz gerektiğini, sanat eleştirmenlerinin ne yaptığını ve eleştirinin nasıl öğretileceğini, kısaca, sanat eleştirisinin doğasını ve sürecini, akademik ve pedagojik sanat eleştirisi stratejilerinin tanıtımı ve eğitimindeki öneminin ne olduğu sorusuna cevap arandı.
The concept of art education, which takes its place within the integrity of education, "we must understand a training that covers all forms of expression, not in the visual and plastic fields of salt. The main subject of this study is the four basic disciplines, i.e. the fields of teaching in art education and the subdiscipline of art criticism. It could be more correct to say “study artwork” to the critical work done at school level. The artwork requires examination, regular preparation and knowledgeable application. The weight of this approach is determined by the teacher. Critical activities are to ensure that you are away from the teacher-centered approach that is applied today. As a result, in this study, instead of one-dimensional art education, the question of why combined art education methods are necessary, which is a subdiscipline of art education fields, what is art criticism, why we should learn to do art criticism, what art criticists do and how to teach criticism, in short, the nature and process of art criticism, what is the importance of academic and pedagogical art criticism strategies in the promotion and education.
