Abstract:

Abstract enChildren socialize by mimicking their parents and complete their personality traits, attitudes and behaviors through learning in the family. The main purpose of this research is to reveal the difference between prosocial behaviors and aggressive behaviors of children with some individual and familial factors of delinquency in children. The sample of the research consists of 73 children including 67 boys and 6 girls, who were selected by random sampling method from the delinquency in children who came to 3rd Juvenile Court of Istanbul Palace of Justice. In this study, the variables were examined through the Interview From prepared by the researchers and Prosocial and Aggressive Behaviors Scale adapted to Turkish by Bayraktar, Kındap, Kumru and Sayıl (2010). It was found that only the parental loss variable showed a statistically significant difference on the prosocial behaviors, whereas the other independent variables did not show any statistically significant difference on the prosocial behaviors and aggressive behaviors.
