Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to attampt to identify how wars explained in novels which have been translated in to the Turkish language from foreing languages. In this sense an examination of war narrative styles was conducted. The research is based on the document analysis method. With this method, The French –Russian War of 1812, The Crimean War, the American Civil War, The First World War and the Spanish Civil War were examined. The War of 1812 was fought between the two states.The novels related to Spain and the USA describ their respective civil wars. In other novels many states participated in survey and dealing with the First World War. The results obtained were analyzed
