Abstract:

The public diplomacy is one of the most important international instruments. Especially after the Second World War, public diplomacy began to be emphasized. New communication technologies in public diplomacy are being used effectively. Public diplomacy involves both traditional media, electronic media, and digital media. It is seen that digital media in the public diplomacy of the 21st century is preferred both by traditional and electronic media because it allows both rapid and mutual communication. TIKA, YTB and Kızılay; Turkey's public diplomacy in the field of important institutions and organizations. This study also examines how TİKA, YTB and Kızılay use Facebook and Twitter in the context of public diplomacy.
