Abstract:

The concept of positive psychological capital, in today’s conditions, such as the globalized economy and the intense competition conditions, provides organizations with a view beyond the traditional methods and resources to and maintain a competitive advantage. In this context, it becomes important to reveal the effects of positive psychological capital on working attitudes.  The main objective of the study is to reveal the relationships between positive psychological capital, organizational commitment and organizational sinism. However, determining the mediation effect of organizational sinism between positive psychological capital and organizational commitment is another objective of the study. In this regard, the survey data collected from 493 health workers working in public hospitals and private hospitals in Adana was analyzed through relevant statistical programs. The results of the study have determined the significant negative impact of positive psychological capital on organizational commitment on significant positive and organizational sinism. Furthermore, organizational sinism has been found to have a partial mediation effect on the relationship between positive psychological capital and organizational commitment.
