Abstract:

ÖZET  İbn Sînâ’nın felsefesinde bilgi ve elde edilmesinde nefse ait dış duyu ve iç duyu güçlerinin yaygın bir yeri mevcuttur. Bu güçlerin bilginin elde edilmesindeki yerini kavramsal olarak ele almak onların epistemolojik fonksiyonlarını ortaya koyacaktır. Nefs, nefsin çeşitleri ve nefsin güçleri İlk çağ filozoflarından itibaren felsefenin ana problemleri arasında yer almıştır. Bu problem İslâm düşünce tarihinde geniş bir şekilde yer bulmuş ve değerlendirilmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Bu çalışma, İbn Sînâ’nın nefs ve nefsin güçleri konularındaki görüşlerini ortaya koyacaktır. Bunun yanında iç idrak güçlerinden olan ortak duyu kavramı üzerindeki değerlendirmelerini bilginin elde edilmesi bağlamında paylaşılacaktır. Hayvani nefsin iç idrak güçlerinin ilki olan ortak duyu/hiss-i müşterek beş duyu tarafından elde edilen duyumların biriktirilme merkezi olarak görev yapar. Ortak duyu merkezi idraklerin birleştirilerek tecrübelerin oluşturulduğu bir merkezdir. Ortak duyudaki duyumlar rüya ve sezginin temelini oluşturmaktadır. İbn Sînâ’ya göre ortak duyu diğer iç idrak güçlerinden farklı olarak sadece dış duyuların ilkesi olarak değerlendirilebilir. Bu haliyle dış duyuların merkezi olarak değerlendirilen bu güç dış duyuların kendisinden kısımlara ayrılıp tekrar kendisine döndüğü bir güçtür. İbn Sînâ felsefesinde ortak duyunun üç ayrı fonksiyonundan bahsedilmektedir. Bunlar duyulurların ortak duyu tarafından ayırdedilmesi, ortak duyu tarafından ayırdedilen duyulurların bir araya getirilerek toplanması ve bu duyulurların hafızadan ihtiyaç duyulduğunda tekrar algılanmasıdır.             Anahtar Kelimeler: İbn Sînâ, Nefs,  Nefsin güçleri, İç İdrak, Dış İdrak, Ortak duyu. CONCEPT OF COMMON SENSE IN AVİCENNA'S THOUGHT ABSTRACT In the philosophy of Ibn Sînâ's philosophy, the external senses and the inner senses have a common place in the knowledge and its acqusition. Conceptually addressing their place in the acquisition of knowledge will reveal their epistemological functions. The self, types of self, and the powers of self are among the main problems of philosophy from the first age philosophers. This problem has been extensively covered and evaluated in the history of Islamic thought. This study will reveal Ibn Sînâ's views on the self and its forces. Besides, his evaluations on the concept of common sense, which are internal cognitive powers, will be shared in the context of obtaining knowledge. The common sense, the first of the internal cognitive forces of animal self serves as the center of accumulation of the sensations obtained by five senses. The common sense center is a center where experiences are combined and experiences are formed. The sensations in common sense are the basis of dream and intuition. According to Ibn Sînâ, the common sense can be considered as the principle of external senses, unlike other internal cognitive forces. This power, which is considered as the center of external senses in this state, is a force in which external senses are separated from themselves and returned to itself. In Ibn Sînâ philosophy, three different functions of common sense are mentioned. These are the discernment of the senses by the common sense, the gathering of the senses that are recognized by the common sense, and the perception of these sensations when it is needed from the memory.
