Araştırmanın amacı, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Milli Eğitim ve Kültür Bakanlığı Genel Ortaöğretim ve Mesleki Teknik Öğretim Dairesine bağlı okullarda görev yapan psikolojik danışman ve rehber öğretmenlerin psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerine ilişkin yeterlik düzeylerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu çalışmada problem cümlesi “Ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan psikolojik danışman ve rehber öğretmenlerin psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerine ilişkin yeterlik düzeyleri nasıldır?” diye belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın evrenini KKTC’de tüm ilçelerde yer alan ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 102 psikolojik danışman ve rehber öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan psikolojik danışman ve rehber öğretmenlerin bazıları okulda bulunmadığından ve dağıtılan bazı anketlerin geri dönmediği için 8 denek kaybı olmuştur ve araştırmanın örneklemini 94 psikolojik danışman ve rehber öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmada Poyraz (2007) tarafından geliştirilen Okul Rehberlik Hizmetleri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler t-testi, Mann Whitney U ve tek yönlü varyans kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgulara genel olarak bakıldığı zaman psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinin çok yeterli düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Alt problemler ile ilgili bulgulara bakıldığı zaman ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan psikolojik danışman ve rehber öğretmenlerin medeni durum, bulundukları okuldaki rehberlik servisindeki hizmet süresi ve okulda görev yapan psikolojik danışman sayısı değişkenine göre verdikleri psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinin yeterlik düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır.
The purpose of the research is to determine the levels of competence of psychological counselors and guides teachers working in schools associated with the General Secondary Education and Professional Technical Education Department of the National Education and Culture of the Republic of Northern Cyprus. The question phrase in this study is "What are the levels of competence of psychological counselors and guides teachers working in high school institutions in relation to psychological counseling and guidance services?" It is determined. The universe of this study consists of 102 psychological counselors and guides teachers who work in the secondary education institutions located in all districts of the KKTC. Some of the psychological counselors and guides teachers in the secondary school institutions have lost 8 students because they are not in school and some of the disseminated surveys are not returned, and the sample of the research has been made by 94 psychological counselors and guides teachers. This study used the School Guidance Services Scale developed by Poyraz (2007). The data was analyzed using t-test, Mann Whitney U and one-way variance. When looking at the findings in general, it has been found that psychological consulting and guidance services are very sufficient. When looking at the findings related to the sub-problems, it was found that psychological counselors and guides teachers who work in the high school institutions have a significant difference between the level of competence, the duration of service in the school guidelines they are in and the number of psychological counselors who work in the school, according to the variation.
