Abstract:

Bu çalışmada Hammurabi Kanunları’nda ve Tevrat’ta kadınla ilgili hükümlere bakılarak hukuk kuralları doğrultusunda kadının toplumdaki yeri ve önemi tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca iki tarihi kaynağın sunduğu veriler doğrultusunda karşılaştırmalı yöntem kullanılarak iki toplumun hukuk yapısı ve kadın algısı yönünden benzerlik ve farklılıkları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır
