Abstract:

The aim of the study is to determine the satisfaction of inpatients in many aspects. The population of the descriptive study consists of patients who were hospitalized in a state hospital in Artvin between January and May 2022. Simple random sampling method was used because the study population could not be determined clearly. The study was carried out on the data of 98 patients collected by the researchers. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form and the Inpatient Satisfaction Scale. The research was carried out within the framework of ethical principles. It was found that the sub-dimensions of the inpatient satisfaction scale were at a medium level, while nursing services had the highest average and other services had the lowest average. It has been determined that male patients receiving inpatient treatment are more satisfied with the service they receive from doctors than female patients. In addition, it was determined in the study that individuals who expressed themselves as very happy were more satisfied with their nursing services. It was concluded that the sub-dimensions of the inpatient satisfaction scale were moderate, nursing services had the highest average, male patients were more satisfied with the service they received from doctors, and individuals who expressed themselves as very happy throughout their lives were more satisfied with the service they received.
