Abstract:

People, individually or within a social structure, react to events that affect themselves. The type, size and shape of reactions can vary according to many variables, such as the individual’s gender, age, place in which he lives, profession, social structure. With these fundamental variables, desires, expectations and ideas can also affect reactive behavior. Political behaviors form a certain part of all behaviors. The attitudes and behaviors that the individual and society develop against political events in these general behaviors are political behaviors. The ability to analyze political behaviors is important for the knowledge of political behaviors that may be demonstrated against political events that may occur later, comparable with other behaviors and for the study of political behaviors of different countries. Political behavior studies are important to understand the extent to which political socialization occurs and to know what limits the political system is within. Personal characteristics, expectations and political behavior can be influenced by changes that occur in the global structure outside the society in which it is experienced. Elements such as modernization, industrialization, international competition, mass media, immigration, war enter the field of research of political behavior studies. With this study, a literary study was conducted on the elements that influence the formation, development and change of political behavior. In general, individual and social political behaviors can change in the face of different political events. The most important act in which political behavior arises is political participation.
