So many results that aren't mine?

Eğitim Örgütlerinde Kronizm, Sessizlik ve Sinizm Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, eğitim örgütlerinde kronizm, sessizlik ve sinizm arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemektir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Turhan (2014) tarafından geliştirilen Kronizm ölçeği, Vance, Brooks ve Tesluk (1995) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçeye uyarlaması Güzeller ve Kalağan (2008) tarafından yapılan Sinizm Ölçeği ve Dyne, Ang ve Botero (2003) tarafından geliştirilen Sessizlik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre; öğretmenlerin kronizm, sessizlik ve sinizm algılarının azımsanamayacak düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, eğitim örgütlerinde kronizm algısının örgütsel sessizlik ve sinizm düzeyinin anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar ışığında, gerek politika üretenlere ve gerekse uygulayıcılara öneriler sunulmuştur.

Relationship Between Chronism, Silence and Sinism In Educational Organizations

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the relationships between chronism, silence and sinism in educational organizations. The study used the Chronism scale developed by Turhan (2014) as a data collection tool, the Chronism scale developed by Vance, Brooks and Tesluk (1995) and the Synthesis scale developed by Dyne, Ang and Botero (2003) as an adaptation to Turkey by Güzeller and Kalağan (2008). According to the findings from the study, the teachers’ perceptions of chronism, silence and sinism are at an unmistakable level. Moreover, it has been concluded that the perception of chronism in educational organizations is a meaningful promoter of the level of organizational silence and sinism. In the light of these results, recommendations have been presented to policy makers and, if necessary, to the implementers.
