Abstract:

The subject of the study is the problem of method in Islamic researches. As a problem, it questions the nature and place of Islamic Sciences in the face of modern-postmodern paradigms. Research methods and techniques in Islamic sciences are very broad concepts. This is because, in the historical process, each field has developed its own procedures and proofs according to its scientific object. For this reason, the general principles of Islamic sciences were laid out in the research, rather than addressing the method of each of the basic Islamic sciences individually. Science is all kinds of systemic effort made to know nature, human, society, religion and the unseen world. In order for science to be valid and reliable, regardless of its object, scientific research methods and techniques must be used. A scientific method is a set of scientific rules that reveal which theoretical perspectives to have when obtaining information, how to handle religious - secular, natural – social events and facts all and how to analyze and interpret social data. In the study, science, scientific methods and strategies were discussed from the point of view of Islamic scholars. In related places, the perspectives of Islamic scholars have been compared to those of modern scholars. The aim of the study is to establish what the paradigms of Islam and modern science are compared with a view to contribute to scholars who detect contradictions between both approaches. Its importance is to eliminate the contradiction in these fields by revealing similarities and differences between Islamic and modern scientific paradigms.
