Abstract:

Economic relationships are relationships that can be measured with money. Political relations consists of the conquest, use, and protection of sovereignty. When examining the relations of the two countries, isolating the economic relations from the political relations, separating and neglecting the interaction between them leads to errors. The study covers the Yeltsin period of the Turkish-Russian relations (1992-2000). If economic relations are analyzed separately from political relations, the Yeltsin period is claimed that the relations of Turkey-RF are incomprehensible, it is assumed that there is interaction between the two types of relations.To understand the relations of Yeltsin period, the interaction between the two types of relations should not be neglected. The position of the types of political and economic relations in the y and x axis was marked for the years 1992-2000. Political relations between the two countries are expected to move in a positive (+) direction in the y axis while economic relations are expected to move in a positive (+) direction in the x axis. The political relations between Turkey and Russia have turned negative (-) in the axis, and the economic relations have been affected and the speed of progress in the negative (-) political relations has been deteriorated. As a result, the economic relations between any two countries that move in the positive (+) direction in the x axis limit the political relations to drive in the negative (-) direction in the y axis. The economic relations increased in volume and variety between any two countries contribute to peace. Therefore, a policy of multiplication of the volumes and types of economic relations can be implemented to peace and maintain peace between the two countries.
