Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the relationship between school managers' toxic leadership behaviors and teachers' extinction levels according to the perceptions of high school teachers. The research has used the relative scan scheme from quantum research methods. The study’s sample 2015-2016 Education teaching year consists of 352 teachers selected according to the element sample method of 2302 teachers who work in public high school and imam hatip high school associated with the national education departments of Pamukkale and Centerfendi district. The data of the study was collected through the "Maslach Extinction Scale" and the "Toxic (Toxic) Leadership Scale". The analysis of data has been used by parametric and non-parametric techniques. The study found that teachers don’t participate in school managers’ toxic leadership behavior, although they rarely experience a decrease in the feeling of emotional exhaustion and personal success, but never experience sensitivity. All the subdimensions of fatigue and the value of toxic leadership have established a meaningful relationship between the subdimensions of ignorance and the general. All dimensions of toxic leadership are processed together to significantly reduce the feeling of emotional exhaustion, insensitivity and personal success.
