PAYLAŞILAN LİDERLİĞİN OKUL ETKİLİLİĞİ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

Abstract:

Yapılan bu çalışmada öğretmenlerin algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin paylaşılan liderlik özelliklerinin okul etkililiği üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nicel bir araştırma olup, ilişkisel tarama modeline göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini Niğde ilinde bulunan resmi okul öncesi, ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise kurumlarındaki görev yapan toplam 3572 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Basit tesadüfi örneklem yöntemi ile seçilen 1053 öğretmen araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamak amacı ile araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu, Özer ve Beycioğlu (2013) tarafından geliştirilen “Paylaşılan Liderlik Ölçeği”, Yıldırım ve Ada (2018) tarafından Türkçe‟ ye uyarlanan “Algılanan Okul Etkililiği Ölçeği (SEINDEX)” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS (versiyon 25) kullanılarak korelâsyon ve regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin sergiledikleri paylaşılan liderlik davranışları “çok yüksek” düzeyinde öğretmenlerin okul etkililiğine yönelik algıları ise “yüksek düzeyde” bulunmuştur. Öğretmen algılarına göre okul müdürlerinin paylaşılan liderlik özellikleri ile okul etkililiği arasında orta düzeyde ve pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, öğretmen algılarına göre okul yöneticilerinin paylaşılan liderlik davranışlarının okul etkililiğinin bir yordayıcısı olduğu görülmüştür.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of shared leadership characteristics of school principals on school effectiveness according to teachers' perceptions. The research is a quantitative research and was conducted according to the correlational model. The population of the research consists of 3572 teachers working in official pre-school, primary, secondary and high school institutions in Niğde province. The sample of the study consists of 1053 teachers using the simple random sampling method. In order to collect data, a personal information form prepared by the researcher, “Shared Leadership Scale” developed by Özer and Beycioğlu (2010), and “Perceived School Effectiveness Scale (SEINDEX)” adapted to Turkish by Yıldırım and Ada (2018) were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS (version 25), correlation and regression analysis. As a result of the research, the shared leadership behaviors of the school principals according to the perceptions of the teachers were found to be "very high" and the perceptions of the teachers about the school effectiveness were found at "high" level. According to teachers' perceptions, it was seen that there was a moderate and positive significant relationship between school principals' shared leadership characteristics and school effectiveness. In addition, it was concluded that school administrators' shared leadership behaviors were a predictor of school effectiveness, according to teachers' perceptions.
