MÜZİK EĞİTİMİ ÇALIŞTAYLARINA İLİŞKİN MÜZİK ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN GÖRÜŞLERİ (AFYONKARAHİSAR İLİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract:

Çalıştaylar, bir meslek alanında uzman olanların bilgi, fikir ve tecrübelerini planlı bir şekilde sözlü ya da uygulamalı çalışmalar yoluyla paylaştıkları çalışmalardır. Ülkemizde öğretmenlere yönelik mesleki gelişim çalışmaları genellikle yeni eğitim-öğretim yılının başında ve sonunda verilen seminerler yoluyla gerçekleştirilmektedir. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın verdiği seminerler incelendiğinde özellikle müzik öğretmenlerine yönelik çalışmaların çok kısıtlı olduğu görülmektedir. Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı başta müzik öğretmenleri olmak üzere, sınıf öğretmenleri ve okul öncesi dönem öğretmenlerine yönelik olarak on iki yıldır “müzik eğitimi çalıştayı” düzenlemektedir. Yapılan bu çalıştaylar müzik eğitimi ve müzik eğitimcilerinin sorunlarının tartışıldığı, ritim, koro, ses eğitimi, teknoloji kullanımı gibi çeşitli konularda müzik eğitimi uygulamalarının yer aldığı çalışmalardır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Afyonkarahisar müzik eğitimi çalıştaylarına ilişkin müzik öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda on ikinci çalıştaya katılan müzik öğretmenlerine çalıştayla ilgili görüşlerini almak üzere açık uçlu bir anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda çalıştayların müzik öğretmenlerinin mesleki gelişimlerine katkı sağlayan ve devam etmesi gereken bir program olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

Teachers should continue their professional development and update their knowledge continuously after they are employed. One of the activities that can be organized for the professional development of teachers is workshops. Workshops are the works of experts in a profession to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences in a planned way through oral or applied studies. State Conservatory of Afyon Kocatepe University has been organizing a music education workshop for twelve years, especially for music teachers, classroom teachers and preschool teachers. The aim of this study is to present the opinions of music teachers about music education workshops in Alicante. For this purpose, an open-ended questionnaire was applied to the music teachers who participated in the twelfth workshop to get their views on the workshop. The study is a qualitative research. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis. In the light of the data obtained, it was concluded that the workshops were evaluated as studies including new topics and practices that contributed to the professional development of music teachers. In addition, it has been determined that the workshop practices make music teachers’ lessons more effective, increase the communication and exchange of information between teachers and it is an activity that should be continued.
