Abstract:

Stres günümüz koşullarında çalışanları ve iş dünyasını etkileyen en önemli sorunlardan biri haline gelmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, bireyde stres yaratan faktörler; kişilik yapısından, genel çevre unsurlarından ve çalışma hayatının niteliğinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Muhasebe mesleği de, işin niteliği itibariyle stres unsurunun çok fazla olduğu meslek gruplarındandır. Bu çalışmada, mesleğin genel olarak karşılaşılan ve stres yaratan koşullarının yanı sıra kadın çalışan olarak karşılaşılan stres kaynaklarını belirlemek amaçlamıştır. İzmir ilinde faaliyet gösteren 220 kadın muhasebe meslek mensubuna yapılan anketle meslek mensuplarının stres kaynakları belirlenmiş ve stres kaynaklarının demografik özelliklere (yaş, medeni hal, eğitim, unvan, çalışma süresi, çalışma şekli, kişilik yapısı) göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediği saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, muhasebe meslek mensuplarını etkileyen stres kaynakları ile demografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiye bakıldığında “mesleki unvana” göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Kadın çalışanlara karşı mesleki açıdan negatif bir bakış açısı varlığı sorgulandığında genel düşüncenin böyle bir durumun söz konusu olmadığı yönünde çıktığı görülmüştür.

A research on the identification of stress sources in women's accounting professions

Abstract:

Stress has become one of the major problems that affects employees and the business world. Thus, factors that cause stress in an individual; originates from personality, general environmental elements and quality of work life. Profession of accounting, as the nature of the job, is one of the professions that element of stress is quite common. In this study, it is aimed to point out the conditions of the profession faced with generally and causes stress along with the stress sources faced by female employees. By a questionnaire done with 220 female members of the accountancy profession, members' origin of the stress was identified and whether the origins of stress differ meaningfully according to demographic features (age, maritime status, education, title, work time, working style and personality) or not, was established. Demographic features of the professional members were analyzed by frequency method. As a result of the survey, the stress sources that were identified that they affect the professional members were put in an order. Examining the relationship between stress sources affecting professional members and demographic variables, statistically meaningful differences based on "profession title" was found. When it is examined, if a negative attitude to female members existed, it came out that the general opinion is that is out of question.
