Okul öncesi dönemdeki çocukların çevreye karşı tutumlarını ortaya koymak bu araştırmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Giresun il merkezinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı bağımsız anaokullarına ve ilköğretim okullarının anasınıflarına devam eden 60-72 aylık 353 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, orijinal adı “Children’s Environmental Response Inventory” olan “Çevresel Tepki Envanteri” kullanılmıştır ve yapılan geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması sonucunda 8 maddeden oluşan iki faktörlü bir ölçek formu elde edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularının yorumlanmasında 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyi esas alınmıştır. Analizler, SPSS 15.0 programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, çocukların çevreye karşı tutumlarının yaşanılan yer, annenin öğrenim düzeyi, babanın öğrenim düzeyi, ailenin aylık geliri, annenin mesleği ve babanın mesleğine göre farklılaşmadığı p>0.05 , cinsiyete göre ise anlamlı farklılık olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır p
The purpose of that study is to introduce the attitudes of the children against the environment. The sampling of the study consists of the 353 preschool children of 60-72 months, attending the independent kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and the nursery classes of the primary schools in Giresun city center. As the data collection tool, the “Environmental Reaction Inventory” consisting of 8 items had been used. For the interpreting of the findings of the research, “0.05 - significance level” had been taken as the basis. The analysis had been made by using the software “SPSS 15.0”. At the research it had been arrived to the conclusion that the attitudes of the preschool children against the environment do not differ as a result of the place they live, the education level of their parents, the income of the family, or the career of the parents p>0.05 but as a result of their gender p
