Abstract:

Değerler, insanları ve durumları analiz etmede kullandıkları istenilen davranışları ve yaşam biçimlerini ifade eden doğru karar vermede fertlere yardımcı olan temel ölçütler şeklinde ifade edilmektedir. Burada en önemli görevlerden biri eğitim kurumlarına düşmekte olup okullarda verilen değerler eğitimi önem arz etmektedir. Okullar müfredatta net bir şekilde belirtilen veya örtük olan değerleri kazandırmak, öğrencileri istenilen değerler konusunda yetiştirmek, görevini üstlenmiştir. Programlarda yer alan kazanımların öğrencilere verilmesinde çoğunlukla kullanılan araç ders kitapları olduğundan önemli bir yere sahip olduğu söylenebilir. Bundan dolayı değerlerin ders kitaplarında ne kadar ve nasıl bulunduğu önemli bir husustur. Bu araştırmada MEB tarafından kabul edilen 9. ve 10. sınıf biyoloji ders kitaplarında değerlere yer verilme durumunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araş-tırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın veri kaynağını MEB tarafından 2018–2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında ortaöğretim okullarına ücretsiz dağıtılan birer adet 9 ve 10. sınıf biyoloji ders kitabı oluşturmaktadır. Kitaplarda 3 ayrı ünitede yer alan metinler incelemeye alınmış, bu bölümlerde değinilen değerler tespit edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yapılmıştır. Betimsel analiz için MEB tarafından belirlenen değerler kullanılmıştır. Sonra kitaplar cümle cümle okunarak ilgili değerlerin bulunma sıklığına bakılmıştır. 9 ve 10.sınıf biyoloji ders kitaplarında yer alan metinler incelenerek elde edilen analizler sonucu metinlerde, sorumluluk, sevgi,  saygı, hoşgörü, dayanışma, yardımlaşma,  fedakarlık, merhamet, temizlik, kültürel mirasa sahip çıkma, estetik duyguların geliştirilmesi, empati, dostluk, doğruluk, dürüstlük, adalet, çalışkanlık, paylaşımcı olmak, iyilik yapmak değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Fakat bu değerlerden yardımlaşma ve sevgi hariç diğerlerine direk olarak metinlerde değinilmemiş olup cümlenin verdiği anlamdan bu değerlere vurgu yapıldığı anlaşılmaktadır.

Values are expressed in the form of fundamental measures that help persons make the right decisions that express the desired behavior and way of life they use to analyze people and situations. One of the most important tasks here is to fall into the educational institutions and the values given in the schools are the importance of education. Schools have taken their task to acquire values clearly specified or covered in the curriculum, to train students about the desired values. It can be said that the achievements included in the programs have an important place in giving students because they are the most commonly used tool lessons. This is why it is important how much and how the values are found in the teaching books. The 9th and 10th of this study were accepted by MEB. It is intended to determine the status of the values included in the class biology curricula. The research methods are used to investigate documents. The data source of this study is a single 9th and 10th class biology curriculum, which is distributed for free to high school schools by MEB in the 2018-2019 educational year. The books contained in three separate units of texts, and the values referred to in these sections were identified. A visual analysis of the data has been made. Values determined by MEB were used for visual analysis. Then the books looked at the frequency of the values related by reading the phrase. 9 and 10. The results of the analyses obtained by studying the texts included in the class biology curricula books in the texts, responsibility, love, respect, tolerance, tolerance, assistance, sacrifice, mercy, cleansing, cultural heritage possession, the development of aesthetic feelings, empathy, friendship, righteousness, honesty, justice, workforce, being shared, doing good. But it is clear that these values, except the help and love, are not directly referred to others in the texts, and that these values are emphasized in the meaning given by the phrase.

Values are expressed as basic criteria that help individuals make the right decision, which expresses the desired behaviors and lifestyles they use to analyze people and situations. One of the most important tasks here falls to educational institutions and values education given in schools is important. Schools undertake the task of gaining values that are clearly or implicit in the curriculum, educating students about desired values. It can be said that the textbooks have an important role in providing the gains in the programs to students. Therefore, how and how values are found in textbooks is an important issue. In this research, it was aimed to determine the status of values in the 9th and 10th grade biology textbooks accepted by the Ministry of National Education. In the research, document analysis which is one of the qualitative research methods was used. The data source of this study consists of a 9th and 10th grade biology textbook which are distributed free of charge to secondary schools in 2018-2019 academic year. The texts in three different units were examined and the values mentioned in these sections were determined. Descriptive analysis was used for data analysis. For descriptive analysis, the values determined by Ministry of Education were determined. Then these values in the books were searched by reading the sentence by sentence. Responsibility, fondness, respect, tolerance, solidarity, cooperative, sacrifice, compassion, cleanliness, compassion, cultural heritage, development of aesthetic feelings, empathy, friendship, honesty, honesty, justice, diligence, to be sharing, to do good values have been determined. However, these values are not mentioned directly in the texts except for cooperative and fondness, and it is understood that these values are emphasized from the meaning given by the sentence.
