Abstract:

According to the Relationship Network Theory, immigration will continue once the migration networks are established, security/political measures will not be sufficient to prevent migration, and the networks established by refugees/immigrants will address the host country and facilitate and continue migration. According to the report, about 4 million Syrians under temporary protection who have entered Turkey through various roads since 2011 are becoming more settled every day, their intentions to return to their countries are significantly decreased, and as a result of the network of relations that refugees established, migration from Syria to Turkey has become a systematic structure. Turkey’s sustainability trends are increasing and the concept of economic migrants is evolving, and increasing contribution to the economy has become an obligation to complete the socio-economic integration of Syrian refugees (SM) and to reduce the negative side effects they cause. In this context, the measures aimed at the employment and entrepreneurial potential of SMs on their own account, their direction to the sectors that suit their professional capabilities, the creation of understructures to support entrepreneurship, the emphasis on professional training programs and other measures to be taken are of vital importance in terms of national security, the economy and the socio-economic integration of refugees.
