Abstract:

Today, cultural tourists are considered a very important element in the spread of the twelve months of tourism. The cost of travel tourists contributes to economic growth. The study of the travel expenditure of cultural tourists is very important in this regard. In this study, various hypotheses were developed in order to study the differences between the socioeconomic, socio-demographic, travel-related and psycho-graphic variables of the total travel spending of local and foreign cultural tourists visiting the Ancient City of Bergama. The independent groups tested in the hypotheses were determined according to gender, gender, the desire to pay the expenses of others on the journey and the desire to spend the expenses made elsewhere. According to the T-Test results, there is a significant difference between independent groups and the total travel expenditure average. The study also applied ANOVA variance analysis to study the difference in total travel spending according to household income levels. When the household population is examined income groups, the third group has been found to spend more than the first and second groups.
