Abstract:

In this study, social information teachers candidates’ self-sufficiency beliefs towards museum education have been studied in terms of different variables. The method of screening was used. It has been used to identify the working group with easy-to-accessed case samples. The group was composed of 389 participants. The data of the study is collected on the scale developed by the authors. According to the results obtained in the study, social information teachers candidates have a high belief in self-sufficiency towards museum education in general. Social information has shown that gender variation has not been effective in the beliefs of self-sufficiency of teachers candidates to museum education. Class variable 3. 4th class of social information teachers. They have a higher self-confidence than the classes. Social information teachers who receive the museum education lessons have seen that their self-sufficiency beliefs are higher than those who do not receive this lesson. Social information studying at the University of the Mediterranean has been shown to be more positive than the teaching candidates in the University of Niğde's beliefs of self-sufficiency towards museum education.
