Niyazi Berkes 1928 yılında İstanbul Erkek Lisesi'nden mezun olmuştur. Ardından 1931'de İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi'ni bitirmiştir. 1935-1939 yılları arasında Chicago Üniversitesi'de toplumbilim üzerine araştırmalar yapmıştır. O, kurumsal toplumbilim üzerine görüş ve düşüncelerini yansıtan çalışmalarının yanı sıra Türkiye'nin Osmanlı Dönemi'nden günümüze değin geçirdiği değişimleri inceleyen araştırmalar yapmıştır.
Niyazi Berkes graduated from Istanbul Men's High School in 1928. Then in 1931 he graduated from the Faculty of Literature of Istanbul University. From 1935 to 1939, he studied sociology at the University of Chicago. He has conducted studies that reflect his views and thoughts on corporate social science, as well as the changes that Turkey has experienced from the Ottoman era to the present day.
Niyazi Berkes graduated from Istanbul High School İN 1928. Then he graduated Istanbul University Faculty of Literature in 1931. He had been in United States of America between 1935-1939. He researched in Chicago University about society and sociology. Particularly he analyzed the change of Ottoman society.
