Abstract:

In a global world, the logistics activities in the production and marketing chain are carried out according to complex processes by creating an international network. The logistics processes, as a result of increasing sustainability demand and increasing environmental pollution, have turned to logistics, along with the recycling of products and various materials used in production and the destruction of waste processes. The objective of this study is to be able to scan the studies carried out between 2016-2020 in relation to logistics and the topics in which the research is focused, to identify geography and researchers and to be able to be a guide to the studies carried out with the contribution of bibliometric analysis to the literature related to logistics. For this purpose, 182 articles related to logistics from the Web of Science (WOS) database that is subscribed to the Central Library of Selçuk University and provided for access to users have been studied by the bibliometric analysis method. In the research, the package program called VOSviewer was developed for the bibliometric analysis method. Analysis has found that the highest number of references in logistics publications occurred in 2019, the most commonly used keyword is sustainability. It is also found that the country with the most work is the People's Republic of China, the country with the most reference points is Denmark. According to the analysis findings, Kannan Govindan is the most publishing and referring researcher in this field.
