TÜRKÇENİN YABANCI DİL OLARAK ÖĞRETİMİ PROGRAMI ÜZERİNE

Abstract:

Türkçenin yabancı dil olarak öğretimi üzerinde hassasiyetle durulması gereken bir alan olarak nitelenmektedir. Son yirmi yıldır oldukça ivme kazanan bu alanda üniversitelere bağlı Türkçe öğretim merkezleri, Türkiye Maarif Vakfı, Yunus Emre Enstitüsü gibi çeşitli kurum ve kuruluşların faaliyet gösterdiği bilinmektedir. Dil öğretiminde kurum ve kuruluşlar arası standarttın sağlanmasında Diller İçin Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni esas alınmaktadır. Bu metinde belirtilen üç temel, altı ara düzey dikkate alınarak yabancılara Türkçe öğretimine yönelik içerik ve materyal üretilmekte sınav hazırlanmaktadır. Ancak alana özgü yapılan çalışmalar göz önüne alındığında pek çok sorunla karşılaşıldığı görülmektedir. Sorunların temelinde ise hedef dil Türkçeye özgü standartların belirlendiği bir programa duyulan ihtiyaç bulunmaktadır. Bu anlamda çaba gösteren kurumlardan biri olan Türkiye Maarif Vakfının örgün eğitim kurumları için tasarladığı Türkçenin Yabancı Dil Olarak Öğretimi Programı, alanda duyulan eksiklik adına önemli bir adım olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada adı geçen programın içerik bakımından incelenmesi ve muadilleri ile kıyaslanması amaçlanmaktadır.

Abstract:

Turkish as a foreign language is described as a field that needs to be focused on the teaching. It is known that various institutions and organizations, such as the Turkish Maarif Foundation, the Yunus Emre Institute, are active in this field, which has gained a lot of dynamics over the past twenty years. The European Joint Application Text for Languages is based on the establishment of institutional and interinstitutional standards in language teaching. Three basic, six intermediate levels are taken into account in this text and the content and material for the teaching of Turkish to foreigners is produced; the exam is prepared. However, considering the work done specifically in the area, it is seen that many problems have been faced. On the basis of the problems, the target language requires a program in which specific standards are specified for Turkish. The Turkish Language as a Foreign Language Teaching Program designed by the Turkish Maarif Foundation, one of the institutions that strives in this sense, is considered an important step in the name of the lack heard in the field. The purpose of this study is to study the program in terms of content and to compare it with its outcomes.
