Abstract:

The concepts of technology, innovation and information are known to be the most important drivers and actors of the Industry 4.0 evolution. It is impossible for countries to avoid the Industry 4.0 journey; therefore, in order for countries to be competitive, it is necessary to make production by applying flexible, customer demand-specific, digitalized smart manufacturing models, with real-time communications between people-machines-products, which are the core feature of Industry 4.0. Although Industry 4.0 has many advantages, some disadvantages are also discussed. The Industry 4. To take advantage of the advantages of 0 at the highest level and to get the least affected by the disadvantages, it is necessary to be assessed by sustainability approaches in economic, social and environmental dimensions, as stated in the academic literature and in the reports of international organizations. This study aims to identify the impacts of Industry 4.0 players and instruments on sustainable development and environmental performance. For this purpose, the indicators of global indicators, published by international organizations and a repressive guide in determining countries' road maps, have been used as influential and influential variables.
