Abstract:

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effectiveness of publications in the academic field of Turkish education in the Web of Science (WoS) database. The data obtained in the study was analyzed using bibliometric techniques and collaborative analysis. In the collection of data, the articles of the Turkish educators on the Web of Science (WoS) database have been resolved using the VosViewer (Version 1.6.9) package program. The data set has been studied in terms of various bibliometric indicators, such as the year of publication,producing authors, published magazines and influence factors, writer status, author’s institutions, referred source type, multi-referred field articles, keyword analysis, frequently referred publications. As the results obtained, the writers’ Life of AKYOL and Nihat BAYAT; frequently published magazine is the Education and Science magazine. It is seen that the only writer's articles are in the first place among the writer's staff. The Web of Science (WoS) data base magazine found that researchers at the University of Gazi were more publishing. The most frequently mentioned source is the article.
