Öz Amaç: Bu çalışma yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan hemşirelerin basınç yarası bilgilerini ve önleme davranışlarını incelenmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan bu araştırma, Atatürk Üniversitesi Sağlık Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi’nde yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan 18 yaş ve üzeri 101 hemşire ile Ekim- Kasım 2021 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri, Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu ve Modifiye Pieper Basınç Yarası Bilgi Testi (Modifiye PUKT) kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS paket programında, Kurtosis ve skewness kat sayıları frekans, yüzdelik ve aritmetik ortalama, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, one way ANOVA, cronbach alfa güvenilirlik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmada Modifiye PUKT ile yoğun bakımda çalışma süresi, okul eğitimi dışında basınç yarasına ilişkin eğitim alma durumu ve alınan eğitimin yararlı olması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Modifiye PUKT genel puan ortalaması 65.62±14.94 olarak saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışmada yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan hemşirelerin basınç yarası bilgilerinin ve önleme davranışlarının orta düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur.
Its purpose: This study was done with the aim of studying the pressure wound information and preventive behavior of nurses working in intensive care units. Tool and Method: This research, which is of a characteristic type, was carried out between October and November 2021 with 101 nurses aged 18 and over working in intensive care units at the Ataturk University Health Research and Application Center. The data of the study was collected using the Indicative Information Form and Modified Pieper Pressure Intermediate Information Test (Modified PUKT). The data in the SPSS package program, Kurtosis and skewness were evaluated by the frequency, percentage and arithmetic average, t test in independent groups, one way ANOVA, cronbach alpha reliability analysis. Results: The study found a statistically meaningful relationship between the time of work in intensive care with Modified PUKT, the state of receipt of education related to the pressure injury outside of school education and the usefulness of the received education (p<0.05). Modified PUKT's overall score average is 65.62±14.94. Result: This study found that nurses working in intensive care units have a medium level of pressure wound knowledge and preventive behavior.
