Bu makale, Parmenides’in Miletli filozoflara yönelttiği eleştirinin, onların çözmeye çalıştıkları özdeşlik-değişim probleminin aslında bir sözde-problem (pseudoproblem) olduğunun gösterilmesi olarak yorumlanabileceğini öne sürmektedir. Miletli filozofların birbirlerini sert biçimde eleştirmelerine rağmen geliştirdikleri farklı doğa anlayışları, özdeşlik-değişim geriliminden kaynaklanan ontolojik problemin meşruiyetini kabul eden ve aynı paradigmanın içinden konuşan ortak bir dil oluşturur. Onlar aynı soruyu farklı arkhe öğretileriyle yanıtlamaya girişirken, Parmenides özdeşlik-değişim gerilimini çözmeyi bu gerilimin iki kutbundan birisi olan değişimin varlığını kategorik olarak değilleme yoluyla reddeder. Parmenides, Miletli filozofların doğa üzerine geliştirdikleri öğretilerin içeriğine girmeden onları ‘varlık’ yüklemini yanlış kullanmakla eleştirir ve bu yanlış dil kullanımının yol açtığı mantıksal çelişkileri ortaya koyar. Makale, bu betimsel kavram ışığında Parmenides’in özdeşlik-değişim problemini nasıl reddettiğini ve bu reddin onun köktenci mantıksal özdeşlik anlayışının tutarlı ve zorunlu bir sonucu olduğunu göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
This article suggests that Parmenides’ criticism of Miletli philosophers can be interpreted as a demonstration that the problem of identity-changing they are trying to solve is actually a so-called (pseudoproblem). Despite the strict criticism of the philosophers, the different concepts of nature they develop form a common language that accepts the legitimacy of the ontological problem resulting from the tension of identity-changing and speaks within the same paradigm. While they try to answer the same question with different archaeological teachings, Parmenides refuses to solve the tension of identity-changing by categorically denying the existence of change, which is one of the two poles of this tension. Parmenides criticizes them by misusing the "existence" burden, without entering the contents of the doctrines they developed on nature, and reveals the logical contradictions that this misuse of language leads. As a result, the problem of identity-changing that it finds out arising from the use of this language is not formally rejected from the point of view of the content, but from the point of view. In this context, while the article agreed on the definition of the term by defining the term "so-called-problem" as "problem caused by the misuse of the language" with Carnap, who has made this term popular in modern philosophy, as he does, this definition is separated from it by not based on a positive epistemology and thus uses the term "problem" as a no-normative, but imaginary concept. The article aims to show how Parmenides rejects the problem of identity-changing in the light of this imaginary concept, and this rejection is a consistent and compulsory result of his original logical understanding of identity.
