Abstract:

The Republic of Turkey, which was established after the collapse of the Ottoman state, has created a modern, scientific structure in education that can meet the requirements of the age in order not to experience the problems experienced by the Ottoman state before it. In this way, he tried to catch up with the modern and civilized Western states in terms of education and science. In this direction, many innovations and reforms have been signed. There is no doubt that the share of qualified statesmen in the implementation and implementation of these innovations is enormous. After the Republic was declared, modernization activities in education continued rapidly. The innovation movements that continued until Hasan Tahsin Banguoğlu's ministry of National Education experienced a serious transformation with his contributions in this period. The lives of important people in history are important in terms of illuminating that period. Tahsin Banguoğlu, who was a republican educator and minister of National Education, is one of these important figures.
