Abstract:

The press in Iran has informed and influenced the people living in different regions of the country significantly in social, political, economic and cultural matters. The development of the press, especially after the announcement of Legacy, has been covered by different characteristics. In this study, after the introduction of the matbaan to Iran, the development of the press life in the country was obtained, the first newspapers that began to be published in different periods were ranked. The period of escape, the period of legitimacy, and the period of First Pehlevi (Rıza Shah Pehlevi) have been studied under three titles. In the period of escape, the first paper was published in the process of finding out how the political atmosphere in the country was, how the functions of the newspapers were. Relationship of the aforementioned newspapers with the regime, the approaches to legitimacy in the subsequent period, the periods of publication, the issues they have been discussed. Given the publications of the newspapers that will make the ground for legitimacy, the guidelines of which this attitude is positively/negatively welcomed, the press obstacles and restrictions have been revealed. In the post-legitimate period, especially after Rıza Shah took over the administration, some newspapers have taken over a role that gives legitimacy to the administration through the statements they produce. In the years of World War II, the influence of British and Russian politics on Iran's press was felt. The publications of both the right and left sections, which can be assessed under two groups, appear to be terminated in the opposite attitudes of the press bodies towards the governments of the period.
