Abstract:

The aim of this research is to evaluate the technological leadership roles of school managers who work in the official primary and secondary education institutions according to the teachers’ opinions. Teachers’ opinions are studied by gender, branch, year of service, technology-related education status of teachers, the type of school they work, the level of teachers’ technological possibilities in the school to find sufficient, the status of graduate education. Comparative general scan model has been used in the study. The examples of the study were made in the 2016-2017 educational year by 452 teachers who are working in 16 primary and 21 secondary schools in the province of Tuşba, Ipekyolu, Edremit and Erciş. In the study, the 5 type of liquid developed by Sincar (2009) was used "The School Manager's Technology Leadership Scale". According to the research findings; teachers found the levels of showing the technological leadership roles of school managers at the "mediate" level. The views of teachers’ managers on the role of technology leadership have not varied by gender, year of service, state of education related to technology, state of graduate education, industry. The views of teachers on the leadership roles of the tech managers have varied according to the type of school, the level of finding adequate technological possibilities in the school.
