Öz Sosyal bir varlık olan insan, doğduğu toplumun gelenek-görenek, yaşayış ve değerleri başta olmak üzere pek çok konudan etkilenerek büyür ve gelişir. Hayatın önemli bir parçası olan değerler, son yıllarda eğitimin de üzerinde durduğu konulardan biri haline gelmiştir. Ülkemizde ise Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, “Değerler Eğitimi” projesiyle bu konuda çeşitli faaliyetler yürütmektedir. Bu bağlamda değerlerin çocuklara aktarılmasında etkili bir kaynak olan edebî eserler de önem kazanmıştır. Bu makalede Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının “100 Temel eser” projesinde eseri bulunan yazarlardan biri olan Bahaeddin Özkişi’nin hikâyeleri “Değerler Eğitimi” açısından incelenmiştir. Bu incelemede Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı (2018), Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda (2018) ele alınan değerlerden en temel yirmi üç adet değer seçilerek oluşturulan değerler listesi kullanılmıştır. Bu değerler; adalet, alçakgönüllülük, cesaret, cömertlik, çalışkanlık, dayanışma, dürüstlük, eşitlik, fedakârlık, güvenilirlik, işbirliği, merhamet, misafirperverlik, özgüven, paylaşım, sabır, sadakat, saygı, sevgi, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik, vefa ve yardımseverlik değerleridir. Araştırmanın kaynağını “Bahaeddin Özkişi’nin Eserlerinin Değerler Eğitimi Açısından İncelenmesi” adlı çalışma oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise Bahaeddin Özkişi’nin “Göç Zamanı” adlı kitabında toplanan 70 adet hikâye incelenmiştir. Çalışma dört bölümden oluşmakta olup ilk bölümde kavramlar ile ilgili açıklamalar, ikinci bölümde araştırmanın yöntemi, üçüncü bölümde bulgular, dördüncü bölümde de sonuç kısmı yer almaktadır. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre Bahaeddin Özkişi’nin hikâyelerinde, değer listesinde bulunan değerlerin birçoğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu bakımdan Bahaeddin Özkişi’nin hikâyelerinin “Değerler Eğitimi” faaliyetlerinde kullanılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The human being, which is a self-social being, grows and develops, influenced by many subjects, including the traditions, life and values of the society in which he is born. Values, which are an important part of life, have become one of the topics that education has struck on in recent years. In our country, the Ministry of National Education, with the project "Values Education" carries out various activities on this subject. In this context, literary works, which are an effective source in the transmission of values to children, have also gained importance. In this article, the stories of Bahaeddin Özkişi, one of the writers in the project "100 Basic Works" of the Ministry of National Education, are studied in terms of "Values Education". In this review, the Turkish Teaching Program (2018), the Social Information Teaching Program (2018), used the list of values created by selecting the most basic twenty-three values from the values discussed. These values are the values of justice, humility, courage, courage, workforce, solidarity, honesty, equality, sacrifice, reliability, cooperation, mercy, guestness, self-confidence, sharing, patience, loyalty, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism, devotion and utility. The source of the research is the study "Review of the works of Baheddin Özkişi in terms of values education". In this study, we have studied 70 stories collected in Bahaeddin Özkişi's book "Göç Zamanı". The study consists of four sections, in the first part the descriptions of the concepts, in the second part the method of research, in the third part the findings, and in the fourth part the result. According to the findings of the study, in the stories of Bahaeddin Özkişi, many of the values in the list of values have been identified. From this point of view, the conclusion was that the stories of Bahaeddin Özkişi could be used in the "Values Education" activities.
