Abstract:

The body and spirit of man is a creature with biological, psychological and social characteristics. The spiritual direction of man is one of the important truths that has not been reached to him for centuries and is still discussed. Until now, every branch of science has tried to define man according to his own perspective. It can be said that all these definitions are missing. He who knows the creation of man. In this regard, we must first apply to the Qur’an and the sciences together to be able to understand the purpose of creation, the function, the biological, psychological characteristics and the religious aspect of man, and to see the power and art of God in him. The Qur’an, when it deals with man on the one hand encourages him to think about his own self, his creation, the formation of other beings, and in these matters he guides the way to both humans and all beings. The Qur’an does not treat the human being as distinct in its various aspects, but as a whole that is made up of soul and body. Man is not a one-sided being, a multi-sided being, which is charged with a great responsibility for the mind, soul and body given to him, with various tendencies. We tried to talk about the human subject, which is so important, in our study by addressing the physiological and spiritual aspect of man in the context of the Qur’an and the sciences.
