Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the opinions of teachers candidates for the special teaching methods-II course, designed according to the mixed learning environment. The research 2016-2017 educational year, Mathematics and Science Education Department of Science and Science Teaching Program 4th class was attended by 15 teachers candidates. In this study, one of the quality research methods has been used. The special teaching methods-II course, which aims to develop knowledge and skills related to the knowledge of the technological pedagogical field, the knowledge of the pedagogical field and its subcomponents, is carried out on the basis of the face-to-face discussion approach and the accompanying teaching practices are carried out. The online section is carried out through the Moodle Learning Management System, which is carried out through synchronous and asynchronous learning environments, e-portfolio system and communication and document sharing forms. In the research, it has been used a semi-configured interview form as a data collection tool. In the analysis of the data obtained, the content analysis technique was used. Teacher candidates have expressed various positive and negative opinions about the mixed learning environment. The results of the study have been discussed in terms of teacher education.
