Abstract:

Adult interventions to the DEHB have attracted great interest in recent years. This study aims to study the impact of adult ADHD education program on the functionality of a university student with high levels of ADHD signs in daily life. The independent variable of research is the ADHD adult education program. The dependent variable is the functionality of an adult with DEHB in daily life. For the purpose of studying this effect, a single parallel experimental pattern was used. The participant is a 21-year-old teacher candidate studying in the third class of the university with high levels of DEHB signs. Data collection tool was used as a measure in the selection of the Adult DEHB Scale and WUDÖ participant and a question list was used to question the functionality level of individuals with DEHB in daily life to test the effectiveness of the experimental process. The training program is implemented in six sessions. First of all, the initial level data was obtained, and the data was continued to be regularly collected on specific days every week at the stage of the implementation of the training program. 3 weeks after the completion of the training sessions (view 1) and 4 months after (view 2) the monitoring data was obtained. The analysis of data is used by graphic analysis and quantitative analysis (Cohen d). According to the results of the analysis, the participant demonstrated a significant change in the functional areas related to daily life, such as planning, starting and continuing a job, organizational skills, putting things in order of importance, memory, and the great size of the impact. This significant change continued in the monitoring measurements.
