Abstract:

The National Basic Sports Medicine course was held in Izmir with the support of the International Olympic Committee and the Turkish National Olympic Committee and the Head of the Department of Sports Medicine of the University of Ege. The course was attended by domestic and foreign scientists; 50 courses and listeners. Today, the course has been discussed with all aspects of sports medicine. The International Olympic Committee and the World Association of Sports Doctors FIMS; the number of sports doctors in countries that are not sufficient; the national core courses and the relevant doctors, body trainees and other scientists in this subject are transferring the latest developments in sports medicine. In our country, the Turkish National Olympic Committee and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ege, under the leadership of the Main Science Department of Sports Medicine; the first of this course, which was held in 1971, the second was held in İzmir from September 30 to October 6, 1989.
