Günümüzde eğitimcilerin, temel değerlerin gelecek kuşaklara aktarılmasının bir zorunluluk olduğu konusunda hemfikir oldukları bilinmektedir. Toplumların kültürel ve ahlaki değerlerinin devamlılığı için bu aktarımın önemli olduğu söylenebilir. Bu nedenle okullarda verilecek olan eğitimin değerlerimizi de içermesi gerekmektedir. Eğitimde son yıllarda “değerler eğitimi” konusundan sıkça bahsedilmektedir. Sosyal Bilgiler ve Türkçe derslerinin belli başlı değerler üzerine oturtulduğu görülmektedir. Yürürlükte olan son Türkçe Öğretim Programının açıklamalarında değerler eğitimi bölümüne yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Türkçe dersinin temellerini oluşturan bu değerlerin ders kitaplarındaki metinler aracılığıyla işleneceği belirtilmiştir. Türkçe dersi için ana materyal olan ders kitapları ve metinler, Türkçe derslerinin en önemli kaynağıdır. Bu yüzden metin seçimlerinde konu ve tür unsurlarına dikkat edilmelidir. Söz konusu değerler ise kültürel unsurları aktarabilecek metin türleri seçilmelidir. Öğrencilere verilecek duyuşsal becerilerin ve değerlerin kazandırılması için masalların önemli bir araç olduğu söylenebilir. Masallar, tür olarak var oldukları kültürün izlerini taşımakta ve çocukların dünyasına daha kolay girebilmektedir. Bu fikirden hareketle bu çalışmada okullarda okutulan ders kitaplarındaki masalların öğrencilere ilettiği değerlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında 5. 6. 7. ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki masalların V. Propp’un yapısal çözümleme kuramına göre incelenmiştir. Kitaplardaki masal türüne ait metinler belirlenmiş, işlevleri ve formülleri ortaya konmuştur. Böylece öğrencilere verilecek masalların temelde hangi işlevlere karşılık geldiğini belirlenecek, öğretim programında verilen değerlerle örtüşme durumuna bakılacaktır.
It is known today that educators agree that the transfer of basic values to future generations is an obligation. It can be said that this transmission is important for the continuity of the cultural and moral values of societies. Therefore, the education that will be provided in the schools must also include our values. In recent years, the topic of education is often referred to as “values education”. Social knowledge and Turkish lessons are based on certain main values. The latest Turkish teaching program in force has been found to be included in the values education department. These values that make up the foundations of the Turkish course will be processed through the texts in the lessons. Curriculum books and texts, which are the main material for the Turkish lesson, are the most important source of Turkish lessons. It is therefore necessary to pay attention to the subject and type elements when choosing the text. These values should be selected by the kinds of text that can translate cultural elements. It can be said that fairy tales are an important tool to gain the sensory skills and values to be given to students. Tales carry the traces of the culture they exist as a species and can easily enter the world of children. With this idea, this study aims to study the values that the stories in the teaching books taught in schools communicate to students. 2018-2019 Education and Education Year 5. 6 . The 7th and 8th Class of the Turkish Curriculum. It is studied according to Propp’s structural solution theory. The texts of the type of fairy tale in the books are identified, their functions and formulas are revealed. Thus, the stories to be given to students will be determined in what functions they are based on, and the status of matching with the values given in the curriculum will be considered.
