Bu çalışmanın amacı literatürde belirlenen farklı öğretimsel görev türlerinin öğrencilere kazandıracağı kavram ve beceriler, öğrencilerin başarı oranları, öğretimsel görevlerin öğretim sürecine olan katkıları ve zaman kullanımı açısından öğretim sürecinin çeşitli aşamalarındaki eğitimciler tarafından değerlendirilmesi ve bu değerlendirmelerin öğrenci performanslarıyla karşılaştırılmasıdır. Çalışma grubunu bir devlet üniversitesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 42 matematik öğretmen adayı, iki devlet okulunda görev yapmakta olan 5 matematik öğretmeni ve bu öğretmenlerin sınıflarında öğrenim görmekte olan 121 lise onuncu sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma öncesinde öğretmenler ve öğretmen adayları ile çalışmada kullanılan öğretimsel görev türleri ve özellikleri hakkında bilgilendirme çalışması yapılmıştır. Daha sonra hazırlanmış öğretimsel görevler arasından, öğretmenler tarafından seçilen görevler kullanılarak öğretmen ve öğretmen adayları ile asıl çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin görüşlerini derinlemesine incelemek amacı ile yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda öğretmenlerin ve öğretmen adaylarının, öğrencilerin öğretimsel görevlerdeki başarı oranları ve görevleri tamamlamak için gereken süreyle ilgili tahminleri ile öğrencilerin performansları arasında farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öğretimsel görevlerin öğrenmeyi kolaylaştırdığı ve problem çözme ve matematiksel düşünme becerilerini geliştirdiği vurgulanmış, matematik eğitiminde kullanılmasının öğrencilerin muhakeme becerilerini geliştireceği ifade edilmiştir. Bunun yanında bu tür öğretimsel görevlerin matematik dersine olan ilgiliyi artıracağı, dersin hedeflerinin gerçekleştirilmesine yardımcı olacağı, derse olan öz güveni ve olumlu tutumu geliştireceği vurgulanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the concepts and skills that the different types of teaching tasks specified in literature will provide students, the student’s success rates, the contribution of teaching tasks to the teaching process and the use of time in terms of the educators in the various stages of the teaching process and to compare these assessments with student performance. The study group consists of 42 mathematician teachers candidates who are studying at a state university, 5 mathematician teachers who are working in two state schools and 121 high school students of the tenth class who are studying in the classes of these teachers. In the study, a visual scan model was used. Before the study, the teachers and teachers candidates were informed about the types and characteristics of teaching tasks used in the study. Among the later prepared teaching tasks, the main work with teachers and teachers candidates was carried out using the tasks chosen by teachers. Also, discussions were organized with the aim of examining the teachers’ opinions in depth. At the end of the study, it was found that there were differences between teachers and teachers candidates, the student’s success rates and the time required to complete the teaching tasks and the student’s performance. It is also emphasized that teaching tasks facilitate learning and develop problem-solving and mathematical thinking skills, and that the use in mathematical education will develop the judgment skills of students.
