Abstract:

This study aims to identify teachers’ opinions on the implementation of the BEP (Individualized Education Program) of teachers working in primary schools. In the 2017-2018 educational year, 12 teachers who work in different schools and branches have been discussed in the framework of the work carried out in Zonguldak Illi Devrek District. In the collection of the data of the research formed as qualitative, the interview form developed by the researcher was used. Before the interview questions were identified, the area was scanned. After the research, the materials were created. 6 specialists have been given the opinion before giving the final form of the interview. The duration of the conversations by receiving audio recording is 15-20 minutes. The data is analyzed using content analysis. The research has shown that teachers have faced various problems, such as the lack of time towards the application and the process of application of the BEP, the unconsciousness of the guardians, the failures in the practice, the lack of service training and seminars, the lack of knowledge, the difficulties in the reporting phase. Teachers don’t think the coaching training is useful in the current state. The adequacy of education, the presence of support rooms in every school, the strengthening of school and family cooperation are among the solutions proposed by teachers.
