Abstract:

Lifelong learning, which includes all efforts of the individual, including personal, social and professional life; It has become a necessity for the individual to adapt to the changing world. For the individual, the information he / she learns during the primary, secondary and higher education years cannot help the individual find solutions to the problems he / she encounters throughout his / her life and may be insufficient to make sense of the new types of knowledge they will encounter. In this respect, the individual needs to find a way to learn on his / her own, that is to learn lifelong learning, in order to solve the problems he / she encounters and achieve his / her goals. In this study, activities were carried out in order to improve the 6th grade students' skills of using information technologies and their ways of reaching information. The effects of the activities on lifelong learning were tried to be determined by examining the scores of the lifelong learning attitude scale applied before and after these activities. According to the pre-test and post-test average scores, the lifelong learning levels of the students were interpreted as high. There was no significant difference between pre-test and post-test results.
