Yoksulluk, bütün dünyayı ilgilendiren bir sorun olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de aşılması gereken problemlerden biridir. Bu sorunun çözümlenebilmesi için öncelikli olarak yoksulluğun sebeplerinin iyi tespit edilmesi gerekmektedir. Ayrıca, yoksulluk profillerinin ülkeden ülkeye farklılık göstermesi nedeniyle uygulanacak çözüm stratejileri de değişmektedir. Bu nedenle çalışmada, Türkiye’de yoksulluğa herhangi bir çözüm stratejisi önermeden önce yoksulluğun detaylı bir analizi yapılmıştır. Bu analiz yapılırken, küreselleşmenin boyutları ve hızı da dikkate alınarak, oldukça derin bir bakış açısı ile yoksulluğun makro ekonomik, sosyolojik ve demografik nedenleri araştırılmış ve Türkiye’deki yoksulluk sayısal verilerle incelenmiştir. Ortaya çıkan durumun sonucu ile ilişkili olarak Türkiye’de yoksullukla mücadelede etki gösterebilecek stratejiler tartışılmıştır. Çalışma, Türkiye’deki yoksulluğun sebeplerinin, görünümünün ve de yoksullukla mücadele yöntemlerinin hem teorik hem de ampirik çalışmalar kullanılarak ayrıntıları ile anlatılması ile soruna çok boyutlu bir bakış açısı kazandırmayı hedeflemektedir.
Poverty is a problem that affects the whole world as well as one of the problems that must be overcome in Turkey. In order to resolve this problem, it is necessary to first identify the causes of poverty. In addition, the solution strategies to be implemented are also changing because the poverty profiles differ from country to country. Therefore, in the study, a detailed analysis of poverty was made in Turkey before proposing any solution strategy to poverty. In this analysis, considering the dimensions and speed of globalization, the macroeconomic, sociological and demographic causes of poverty have been studied with a very deep perspective, and the poverty in Turkey has been studied with numerical data. In connection with the outcome of the situation, strategies that could have an impact in the fight against poverty in Turkey have been discussed. The study aims to provide a multi-dimensional view of the problem with the use of theoretical and empirical studies and the details of the causes, appearance and methods of fighting poverty in Turkey.
