Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, “Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi: Uzay Bilmecesi” ünitesinin geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ve drama yöntemi ile öğretimi yapılarak bu yöntemler karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmaya 2014-2015 öğretim yılında Balıkesir ilindeki bir devlet okulunda öğrenim gören 44 ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencisi katılmıştır. Çalışmada deneysel modellerden ön test, son test, kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Dünyamız ve Evren Başarı Testi ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme soruları kullanılmıştır. Çalışma verilerinin analizlerine göre Dünyamız ve Evren Başarı Testi puanlarının deney grubu lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde farklı olduğu bulunmuş ve drama yönteminin öğrenci başarısını artırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca drama yöntemiyle öğrenim gören erkek öğrencilerin son test puanlarının kontrol grubundaki erkek öğrencilere göre anlamlı düzeyde arttığı belirlenmiştir.

The 7th Sinif Students' Solar System and Beyond: The Impact On The Successes Of The Space Science Unit

Abstract:

In this study, these methods were compared by teaching with the traditional teaching method and the drama method of the unit "Solar System and Beyond: Space Knowledge". The study was attended by 44 high school 7th grade students who studied in a public school in the Fishesir province in the 2014-2015 teaching year. The study used a semi-experimental pattern with pre-test, final test, control group from experimental models. As a data collection tool, half-configured conversation questions have been used with our World and the Universe Success Test. According to the analysis of the study data, our World and the Universe Success Test scores have been found to be statistically significantly different to the benefit of the experiment group and the drama method has been found to increase the student success. It has also been determined that the final test scores of male students studying with the drama method have increased significantly compared to the male students in the control group.
