Doğrusal Denklemler ve Eşitsizlikler Konusunun Öğretiminde Probleme Dayalı Öğrenme Yaklaşımının Öğrenci Başarısına ve Tutumuna Etkisi

Bu çalışmada, Doğrusal Denklemler ve Eşitsizlikler konusunun öğretiminde Probleme Dayalı Öğrenme yaklaşımının 8. sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrencilerin başarısına ve tutumuna olan etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda ön-test ve son-test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen modeli uygulanmıştır. Araştırma örneklemini Bitlis’in Merkez ilçesinde bulunan bir ortaokulda öğrenim görmekte olan 33 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Kontrol grubunda; öğretim programına uyularak işlenirken, deney grubunda ise Probleme Dayalı Öğrenme yöntemi dikkate alınarak öğretim programları bir problem senaryoları ile işlenmiştir. Dersler, 3 hafta sürecince işlenmiştir. Araştırmada öğrencilerin başarılarını ölçmek amacıyla Matematik Başarı Testi, derse karşı olan tutumlarını ölçmek amacıyla da Matematik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 21 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular şunlardır: Probleme Dayalı Öğrenme yaklaşımı ile ders işlenen deney grubu ile mevcut öğretim programı ile ders işlenen kontrol grubuna yapılan Matematik Başarı Testinde iki grup arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Ayrıca yapılan Matematik Tutum Ölçeğinde deney grubu ve kontrol grubu arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark görülmüştür.

The Impact Of The Learning Approach On The Student’s Success and Performance On The Problem In Teaching

This study aims to study the impact of the problem-based learning approach on the success and attitude of students studying in the 8th grade in the teaching of the subject of true equations and inequalities. In this direction, the experimental pattern model with the pre-test and final-test control group has been applied. The research sample is made up of 33 students who are studying at a high school located in Bitlis' Central District. In the control group, the teaching program is processed in accordance with the teaching program, while in the experiment group, the teaching program is processed with a problem scenario taking into account the problem-based learning method. The lessons were completed for three weeks. The Mathematical Success Test was also used to measure their attitudes against the course in order to measure the success of students in the study. The data received was analyzed using the SPSS 21 package program. The findings obtained from the research are: a significant difference between the problem-based learning approach and the course-processed experimental group and the current curriculum and the course-processed control group was found in the Mathematical Success Test between the two groups. In the mathematical attitude scale there was also a significant difference in the benefit of the experiment group between the experiment group and the control group.
