Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to investigate the knowledge and opinions of the teachers of science knowledge on the FeTeMM education. The study was carried out by phenomenological methods. The examples of the research were formed by 50 volunteer scientists working in the Van Ili Central districts (Tuşba, Ipekyolu and Edremit). In the study, the data was collected using open-end surveys, semi-configured interviews and observation techniques. The analysis of data is evaluated by content analysis from the quality analysis methods. After the research, the findings were indicated by coding under their own categories. The study found that the teachers of science did not have sufficient field knowledge about FeTeMM. The teachers have also experienced difficulties in the practice of the FeTeMM training in the classroom. FeTeMM has found that in the use of teaching methods/strategies in education and in the evaluation of students, most of the teachers of science have not been sufficient. Recommendations on the work are discussed.
